You might want to consider a professional for the removal of squirrels in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Oklahoma City Squirrel Removal

Although I wrote everything I know about squirrel issues for this website, oftentimes a problem with squirrels in the attic is beyond the scope of the do-it-yourself homeowner to solve. I have found a professional company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that handles problems with wildlife. Wildlife X Team has access to tools, techniques, and experience that help them do a far better job at wildlife removal than a non-experienced homeowner could. They possess licensing that allows them to do certain types of work legally, that non-licensed homeowners in the state of Oklahoma are not allowed to do. For the welfare of your situation, and the squirrels, in some cases it's best to hire a pro.

There are good companies and bad companies out there. I've done research on such companies, to get to know them, and feel confident recommending their services. I therefore recommend a company called Wildlife X Team which services Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I am writing for my elderly neighbor 93 yrs who is afraid to say something to her neighbors feeding squirrels - the have gotten in her roof drain stopping up the drain etc - making a mess. - some have died and bodies in the drain. Cost her a fortune to have it cleaned.- where can she go for assistance not having to approach the homeowners. Can a squirrel climb an iron vent pipe from under the house to get in the attic? There is no other way I can see that a squirrel could be getting in. Also do they sometimes come in to steal insulation and not to nest? I can't find a nest but insulation is missing. Thanks, Julie in NC

That's a tough case if a neighbor is feeding squirrels. The best bet is to politely ask, but that's hard to do sometimes, and it might not even work. Yes, it could climb the vent pipe, but I think it'd be rare to steal insulation - maybe, but not in any big volume.

Ok thanks. No sign of a squirrel or nest this morning so I jammed screening in the hole @ the pipe and hopefully blocked the squirrel from re-entering. Your website is awesome by the way. :)

Dear David, I was just up in my attic and there is a squirrel laying on the batt insulation about half way into the attic. I can not tell if it is a alive or dead because I can not see its face. It has been scratching for two nights now and I unfortunately set a have-a-heart trap for a mouse instead. I am not sure how to handle this. Is he not hearing me or playing dead? Your help would really be appreciated. Thanks, bob

That's odd, I've never heard of a squirrel playing dead.

Dear David,I am so embarresed. We had a man go up with me and look as to what it was. It was nothing other than the batt insulation overturned with grey dirt on it. From a distance, it looked like a squirrel. Thank you for getting back to me. Bob

David, I live in Oklahoma City, and I have a Squirrel who likes to visit my attic, the little pest has eaten three holes in face boards, I have set a live trap from him, but no luck yet, the holes are about 35 feet up, and I used moth balls, and ammonia and that has help keep him away for a day or so. What would you suggest I do, and how much would a pro cost if you?. Thank you, Lee

I don't know how much a company would cost in your area, but you can call Ned and ask.
