You might want to consider a professional for the removal of squirrels in Westchester County New York

Westchester, Yonkers Squirrel Removal

Although I wrote everything I know about squirrel issues for this website, oftentimes a problem with squirrels in the attic is beyond the scope of the do-it-yourself homeowner to solve. I have found a professional company in Yonkers, Mount Vernon, White Plains and Westchester County, New York that handle problems with wildlife. Intrepid Wildlife Services has access to tools, techniques, and experience that help them do a far better job at wildlife removal than a non-experienced homeowner could. They possess licensing that allows them to do certain types of work legally, that non-licensed homeowners in the state of New York are not allowed to do. For the welfare of your situation, and the squirrels, in some cases it's best to hire a pro.

There are good companies and bad companies out there. I've done research on such companies, to get to know them, and feel confident recommending their services. I therefore recommend a company called Intrepid Wildlife Services which services Westchester County, New York. If you have a squirrel problem, or any other conflict with a wild animal, and live in Westchester County, I am confident that this company, Intrepid Wildlife Services, is the one to call.

I asked the company to describe their service range, and they said this - Intrepid Wildlife Services is an owner-operated business committed to the highest level of customer service - we provide same-day or next-day service, show up on time, and treat customers the way we'd want to be treated. Our goal is to solve your specific wildlife problem permanently - where other companies carelessly lay some traps on the ground and catch (and charge for) anything, we target the specific nuisance animals, perform high quality animal damage repairs, clean animal waste, and more. We specialize in dealing with animals inside attics and buildings, but excel at all aspects of nuisance wildlife control, from a snake in the pool to bats in the attic. Give me, Matt, a call, and I will be happy to discuss your wildlife problem with you. Intrepid Wildlife Services operates 24/7, so don't hesitate to call at any time to discuss your wildlife problem, and schedule an appointment for same-day or next-day service.

Intrepid Wildlife Services, I was reading your website which I found interesting. Yes I do have squirrels in my attic, someplace! I watched the smart ass squirrel climb up the gutter, and lift his paw up to release the soffit and climb on in. Then she runs down the soffitt and enters through a hole which yet to be found. They also made two other entry points, one at the back of the house and one in the C-D corner above the electrical feed lines. I called a trapper but he will not service me until I drop power. I called the power company and called the trapper. I was hoping they could cut power for 10-15 minutes, set trap and turn power back on - NOPE! Power has to be off for at least 3-4 days. I found something online this morning, It is a device that emits a audible alarm that claims to affect the nervous system of squirrels rats and mice and drive them away from the noise. They claim it is not heard by cats and dogs. I provide the link so you may look at it. I was wondering if this would work?
Intrepid Wildlife Services, Long story short, my mother who passed away recently had squirrels, i ended up buying the house because it would have been difficult to sell in this market. Since purchase I had new roof, gutters, holes plugged - not squirrels in attic anymore. they were probable there for a while though. I have been up there and i can see where they lived - primarily corners of attic. What do i do now? I have 2yr old and 3 week old kids and want to make sure they are not living in an unsafe environment. We do have our air conditioning system up their however the intake is on the second floor. I have had the air ducts cleaned since we moved in. I appreciate any advice you can offer, we live in New York, north of Manhattan, in Yonkers. I was just going to take the damaged insulation out, vacuum the droppings and replace with new insulation. Do i need to remove all insulation? Do i have to fog the attic? Thank you again. -Jeff
