Information, Advice, and Techniques for the Safe Removal of Squirrels in Indianapolis Indiana

Indianapolis Squirrel and Wildlife Control

Although I wrote everything I know about squirrel issues for this website, oftentimes a problem with squirrels in the attic is beyond the scope of the do-it-yourself homeowner to solve. There are professional companies that handle problems with wildlife, and these companies have access to tools, techniques, and experience that help them do a far better job at wildlife removal than a non-experienced homeowner could. And in many cases, they possess licensing that allows them to do certain types of work legally, that non-licensed homeowners are not allowed to do. For the welfare of your situation, and the squirrels, in some cases it's best to hire a pro.

There are good companies and bad companies out there. I do not know many of them, but from time to time I talk to such companies, get to know them, and feel confident recommending their services. We at squirel-attic.com therefore recommend a company called All Pro Wildlife which services Indianapolis, Indiana. If you have a squirrel problem, or any other conflict with a wild animal, and live in Indianapolis, I am confident that this company, Indy Wildlife Services, is the one to call.

Hi again, Mr. David, I'm sorry to bother you with this, but you seem to really know what you're doing, and I'm at my wits end here in Indianapolis. Another "wildlife removal expert" came to my house today to address the squirrel situation, and suggested the use of glue traps, which was really very disappointing. So, I've decided to work up the courage to trap them myself. I'm getting anxious because these squirrels are not in my attic or basement. They're in my apartment. Well, really, they're living in the drop-ceiling over my bathroom and kitchen, but I found pawprints indicating that they've actually been inside the house. Also, a few nights ago, one of them climbed down my wall and tried to get in through my baseboard heating. The only thing I had on hand was aluminum foil, so I shoved it into the baseboard. As I was doing that, I could feel the animal clawing at the foil, and it started making frantic screeching sounds (or maybe that was just me?) It eventually gave up after about a half hour, and went back up into my ceiling. More than anything else, I'm concerned about the possibility of snagged or chewed electrical wiring. Having opened up the ceiling tiles and taken a peek, I can confirm that I have two adults and at least three young squirrels on my hands. The young squirrels do have fur, so I would imagine that they are old enough now to fend for themselves. I need your advice about traps. I thought repeater traps might be the way to go, but since these traps will have to placed on my drop-ceiling tiles, I'm concerned about weight issues, especially once the animals are inside the trap. These are two types of traps I'm considering: These are photos evidencing the presence of squirrels in my apartment. Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thank You, Neelima

Please be kind to squirrels! They are intelligent animals, and believe it or not, they definitely have emotions!
